A front line SIA licence will feature:

• A photograph of the licence holder - this is embedded within the card and not separately affixed.
• The SIA hologram - this has the words 'Security Industry Authority' repeated diagonally.
• A 'textured chip' (i.e. it is raised slightly from the card).
• A 16 digit licence number - this specifically relates to the licence holder.
• The expiry date of the licence.
• The name of the licence holder.
• The licence holder's signature on the back of the card. All legitimate cards will have a signature that is embedded within the card (i.e. the card is not physically signed by the licence holder).
